    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=18232">Shezamumof3</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 39091<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 May 2011 at 7:43am<br /><br />Things that helped me were, chocolate milk(primo) as it puts a lining on your tummy, its hard to get the first sips down but it did help me, peanut butter on crackers, anything with protein can help stop the vomiting. <br />Morningmed spray(by naturopharm) umm gingernuts were the only ginger thing I could handle!I tried the crystallized stuff and it made me feel worse, now I cant stand the smell lol!<br />PLain chippies, <a href="http://www.baby4you.co.nz/shop/Pregnancy/Morning+Sickness/Organic+Preggie+Pop+Drops.html" target="_blank">Preggy Pops</a>(these didnt help me but have helped lots of other ladies), I would suck on ice chips as sometimes I couldnt even handle water.<br /><br />With my son I had bad MS, with my daughter not so bad(with her the choc primo did the trick).]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=27736">miss_freckles</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 39091<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 May 2011 at 4:18pm<br /><br />I had hideous MS right up until 18-19 weeks, and the one thing that really curbed nausea when I felt it coming on was jelly beans - not your traditional remedy by any means - but I swear by it.<br /><br />I also had some success with the Blackmores morning sickness remedy and slept with Sea Bands on some nights....<br /><br />I had jelly beans by the bed - definitely eat something before your feet hit the floor in the morning :)  I would then have an Up and Go for my breakfast before I contemplated getting in the car. <br /><br />Good luck!  This is my first and I really didn't know what I was in for - but it did come right eventually....I still use the jelly beans now and then - though that could now be a pregnancy sweet tooth I have... :)]]>

Finely chop a thumb size amount of ginger into  about a 1 1/2 water and let it simmer.  Even just the smell should ease the nausea....hopefully!]]>

Taking it easy once I did get up. Making sure I ate breakfast (even just a light one like toast or fruit) but always something plain and eating before I had a drink) that seemed to hold off vomiting anyway. And taking it slow held off the nausea! ]]>
