If you are worried give your dr a call and ask them to explain it to you.<br /><br />]]>

Im pretty sure its quite common if your pregnant to have low platelets. So if your blood were labelled pregnant then the WBC reference range would be higher (as it increases in pregnancy), but as you are only just pregnant your WBC may not have increased by much yet therefore it would look like you had low levels but really they are within the non pregnant range.  Does that make sense??<br /><br />]]>

The nurse only told me that I had a low white blood count. Of course I googled it and am now a little panicked. Can anyone tell me if this is common or there are some non serious reasons this could be?]]>
