You could clearly see OV etc. The batteries didnt last very long tho so I got a new Basal 2 decimal point thermometer 0.00 and works great lasted 5x as long as the cheepie one and still going strong. <br /><br />Baby4u had Basal thermometer for about $18 I think + postage<br /><br />But yes as Pixie said taking your temp the same time everyday and after a good sleep is most important <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> ]]>

I used a digital and it was fine because the temp drop was not so slight that you need 2 decimal points. Ovulation was clear from the digital (cheaper) thermometer. Does that make sense? Most important thing is to temp at the same time every morning after being asleep for a few hours. If you do at different times or get up and go to the loo it doesn't work at all. I set my alarm for early then went back to sleep. Good luck!]]>
