Hi and congratulations! I'm 8 weeks today with our first baby from IVF, and I've been going crazy with nerves and anxiety. I have had regular blood tests though which have helped keep me calm so I would definitely suggest asking your midwife. Our midwife has been really accommodating and reassuring with us and is happy for us to have any extra scans if we feel worried.

I felt a bit like that when I first went to the Dr's, I don't have a history of MC. Up until the 12 week scan all I had was a +ve HPT as proof of being pregnant, I didn't have any MS and apart from a missing AF which I'd had whilst TTC there wasn't anything else.

I have just over the weekend found out the we are expecting again and due to the long road and heartache it takes to get here I am so worried that it's all gonna get taken away! I went through the same thing the first time around and so just wondered if there is anyone else like me. I went to Doctor today and she didn't even bother with a test or bloods (as I had bloods done a month or so back with FA stuff) so I won't get to see results from that to just know that everything is ticking over nicely.
