Hello, dear! I do not think that offline classes are now a good idea. I mean, during the pandemic it is better to stay isolated. Especially, if you have a kid or meet with your parents. Take care of them. I can recommend you to find something online. As for me, I am on Spanish courses on Preply. They have a lot of other languages. too. to take the exam in a month, but I realized that I would not pass it,

I've just checked the Te Wananga O Aotearoa website & there's nothing there

and the only other way to do anything is through Waiariki - and it seems rather full on (and all different times) and $750 per paper...

Check out Waiariki Institute of Technology for courses or Te Wananga O Aotearoa.

The government cut funding for schools to run their own community education classes so the only ones available these days are through tertiary institutions.

Not sure where you would go for a cake decorating class. Have you asked at any of the cafes? Ciccio make delicious cakes and sell sugar craft so it's worth asking if they could put on a class.
