Last time I didnt feel anything till 22ish weeks, and hten it was one kick a day, this time I felt bubs from about 16/17 weeks (felt it roll over), and the odd kick/punch every couple of days, but by 21 weeks I can feel it punch from the outside. I still cant feel anything higher up where the placenta is tho.
I hope you (and your DH) get to feel movements a bit earlier this time!

The hardest part is the endless getting up and down off the floor, and her wanting to be picked up all the time.

I'm lucky in that I can still wear her in the manduca quite comfortably so do that when she's being a real grizzle pants, but I've also worked hard to encourage her to walk and to come to me for cuddles when she hurts herself rather than me going to her etc and that is helping a lot.

I've also been encouraging reading stories together and activities that let me blob for a bit. I figure these will also be useful for when I'm tied down BF a new baby.

She's much much more of a kid than a baby now than she was when I got pregnant, so it's much less daunting than it was to begin with!

It really depends on the position of the placenta- did the sonographer give you a good description? For example this one is top right so I have good feeling under my belly button and on the left side.

Subsequent pregnancies you are usually more switched on to what to feel for when waiting for movements so hopefully you will feel them sooner.... or I could send you some of my painful pelvic & rib kicks if you like? LOL
