Feeling much better now. I didn't know about the placenta kicking in around now. Awesome, well if this is what the rest of the pregnancy is going to be like I am looking forward to it. Thank you all for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it.

I freaked out and called my MW who arranged for a quick scan at the early pregnancy clinic at our hospital and it showed a flickering heartbeat and all was fine. I was told that around weeks 8-10 your hormone levels change (again) and this can mean your symptoms change too, and sometimes disappear. Two days after my quick scan my morning sickness was back with a vengeance, so I suggest you relax and enjoy not feeling gross for the next few days (easier said than done I know)! :) x

I was expecting it around hte second trimester but I am only 10 weeks now so at least 2 weeks short. With my son this was when I felt the worse. Would the nausea really dissapear this early or do you think I should be worried?
