We often bribe DD to hold our hands when out and about and it works a treat. She's a very independent little girl and is usually fine while we're out with staying nearby, however now with a newborn, I would rather she holds my hand, especially in carparks. But she flat out refuses to do it. I don't think she would understand a reward system either, eg if you hold my hand you can have such and such.

So any other tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
