You can also lay them in sideways in the ergo when they are that tiny, and the insert is great for that and the whole thing is just much easier. ]]>

I have used it until a couple of weeks ago - so when she was almost 4 months. From my understanding they can be used from birth if baby is a good size.]]>

They were 1.6 & 1.7kg born and we used them from when they were about 5 weeks old.<br /><br />I think the inserts are designed to be used only up to 4-5 months.  And they have a closure strap for little babies - according to the brochure 5 - 8 pounds.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Danda08</span>]]>

But that's just what I heard at slingbabies, not personal experience.]]>

I know you can get inserts for newborns, but the sleepstore blurb on them suggest its from 3 months, which doesn't really seem like newborn to me. Has anyone used the Ergo fro newborns or is there like a weight they have to be first?<br /> ]]>
