Thats how they do it up here as the nearest hospital is 2+hrs away.

This time round elective CS and I'm with a MW. Had no probs at all so far. It sounds pretty routine if you have had an Em CS before, and MW shouldn't discriminate, but best to suss out what procedures they do i.e. home birth, hospital birth etc to gauge what their opinions are. Don't need any pressure if your mind is made up. GL

Hopspital MW/OB & include GP if you want. You can choose a home birth independant MW, but dont think they are really pro-c/section well thats the vibe I got when I visited then high tailed it out of there.

I was told by OB/MW before I left hospital after 1st bub born by traumatic operative VB that it would be best to have elective if back next time, so thats what it was.

I chose to have a VBAC but I felt if I had asked for a C-section it would have been fine. I think you will be booked in for an elective at around 39 weeks.
Other people might have more but that's generally what happens.
Do u still have a midwife? Does the midwife make the arrangements with the hospital?
It is a very different system over in oz so im totally unsure of how it would work in nz and would really appreciate some advice.
Thanks.
