I don't have endo nor PCOS that I'm aware of but have issues with hormone levels. If you're looking for a natural approach then I can suggest Patient Advocates in Tauranga. They use natural hormone therapy to treat all manner of conditions including endo. I've been working with them for almost 6mths and had a huge improvement on the issues I was having within the first cycle (not pregnant yet but feel a million times healthier). You don't have to live in Tauranga to work with them as they do phone consulations for out of towners.

Don't worry yet. Your body needs to start 'thinking' for itself again. I got pregnant straight after coming off the pill and mc'd as my hormones just didn't pick up as they should have. Same thing happened to 2 of my friends. Don't worry yet. Not ovulating doesn't mean it won't happen, hun. It does mean it might be harder, but I know plenty of ladies who don't ovulate by themselves who have babies now. There are drugs they can give you to get you ovulating (clomid's the usual one), and in most cases they do the trick nicely. Even if they don't work (they didn't for me) there's still plenty of options.

It's great that they're keeping a close eye on your cycles. Have they suggested what to do next? Because you didn't ov, you might not get AF - if you don't, ask if they can give you something to bring your period on and start the next cycle afresh. After one cycle without ov (specially since it's just after you came of BC), they might get you to try another unmedicated one, or they might start looking into things further - the important thing is that they've got the bloods and are working on it. Hang in there!

ETA that I have PCOS and endo too, and have a gorgeous little one-year-old and am halfway through baking another - it can work

Hey Iheartcoffee, welcome to OB! Like Monkeys, I too have PCOS, its quite common actually.

Its amazing the things the medical world (and non traditional medicine!) can do for couples so there's always options. I can remember feeling like maybe this will never happen, but really, it is a very small percentage of couples who will never conceive (one way or another). So the odds are in your favour!

Our bodies can take awhile to adjust to not using birth control, so give your body some time and if you are still worried you can always start charting or using OPK's etc to try and pinpoint when and if you are ovulating. Hey there,
I can't help hugely but do have PCOS, and ovulate sometimes but not always(1 in about 3 cycles)
Don't stress too much about it, there are some great drugs (especially clomid) that can induce ovulation with great success - loads of us ladies here are on it.
The endo and PCOS does make it more difficult however there are so many success stories I wouldn't get too worried yet, as it may all be unncessary.
You may want to give charting a go - I have learnt so much about the whole process from the lovely charting ladies, and also learnt so much about my body.

This is all quite new to me and I'm not sure even where to begin.

I really am just wonderting if there is anyone in a similar position?

I have PCOS & Endo, got my Mirena IUD removed in June and specialist recommended 2 cycles before we actively start trying for a baby. I've had one period since and had some blood tests during Day 1-3 and again at Day 21. Progesterone level came back at 1.5, suggesting no ovulation.

I can't help but worry. I am so scared that this is not going to happen for us.

Any thoughts? I would love to hear from you.
