hey,

Im on my 2nd week of round one sinus and throat infection.
I spoke to my midwife about what i can take. She said otrivin in very reduced doses is ok- not highly recommended but ok, ive brought otrivin plus and the saline one and i alternate at one spray of the dosed per day - mainly before bed and only for four days.... lemon and honey and like oscarboo said burning oils does help.

my doctor wont give me the antibiotics as i wont be able to have them after bubs is born because of the amount of times this is going to happen.....im hanging out for summer and being outside in the warm and fresh air

Did your Dr take bacterial swaps?
It could be that it is viral and not biotic.
Not that that is much help because viral means you can only take pain killers. If you talk to your GP they may be able to prescribe something stronger than Panadol so long as you don't take it too often.

Had the bad sinus, been burning oils like peppermint, orange etc just to help me feel a little better within myself. I have also heard from Dr that eating fresh pineapple can help? I'm 22 weeks pregnant, and I keep getting sinus/throat infections. They make me feel like crap, and hurt like hell! This is the 3rd one, and I've just finished a course of antibiotics which have done absolutely nothing. I think the antibiotics have stopped working

I'll go back to the docs on Monday, but not sure what they will be able to do. It's driiving me crazy, and making me snore like a freaking chainsaw!!!
