Lily did and eventually she used the other hand. Definitely check out an osteopath :) My wee DD didnt have the same problem as you are - but she was well overcooked and delivered via emergency c/s so we took her for a few sessions and it did wonders.. oooo thats interesting cause he always looks to the left. i mean he does look to the right but spends alot of time with his head turned to the left.

i mentioned it to the midwife before we were discharged but she just said it might of been the way he was laying in the womb.

we had a simliar thing with our daughter, she had a torticollis (sp!) which meant one muscle in her neck was tighter than the other side, causing her to have trouble reaching with one side, and using one side of her body. Although we went through a year of paediatrition & physio appts etc, she eventually grew out of it and is now a fully-functioning crazy little toddler!

It would pay to get it checked out, you plunket nurse can refer you to a paed if you are worried. so my 9 week old has started reaching out for things.
i put him under his playgym and he will reach out for the rattles but only with his left hand.
he doesnt reach at all with his right hand.
he only ever stares at his left hand aswell
is this normal??
