Haven't been on here in a long time
Have kept in touch with a few ladies from here through FB though

My little miss was born 7th December 2012 (2.395kg 47cm) a week early. She had IUGR and is still a petite wee thing. Now weighing 7.63kg 68cm

We had her first birthday party on her actual birthday

It was a great day.

Unsure if or when we will try for # 2

I only occasionally check this now, since everyone disappeared to Facebook! I got an email notification on your post though, which is amazing, because while everyone was actually posting here, the notifications kept failing...

Congratulations, that's awesome about your new pregnancy, and wow good growing with number one! Mine was not so well grown (6 lb)! We are probably going to try for #2 soon too :-) Also will be hoping for a girl to balance things out :-) Can't believe we have 13 month olds now! Crazy huh!!

We had our little girl on Tuesday! 3.6kg and arriving on her due date.
Labour went well (ouch!) and had our waterbirth at birthcare as planned.
No name yet..

So far the most stressful thing has been trying to keep DD (who's nearly 2) at a safe distance as she's very keen to cuddle (plus poke / prod / grab / pull) baby sister at every opportunity.

Well I might be the first baby announcement! Our baby boy (no name yet) was born last Thursday the 22nd, after induction for pre-eclampsia...I had all the intervention I was hoping to avoid, winding up with an emergency caesarean on Thursday for fetal distress. Hope everyone else has better luck than me with the birth process, but equally good fortune with baby's health!

Glad everyone is doing ok. Anna hope you're feeling better and have had no more pre-eclampsia symptoms.

I'm definitely getting over being pregnant. Feel huge and uncomfortable plus it's really hard to sleep. Came down with a cold this week which sucked, but starting to feel a bit better now thankfully.

Oddly enough I think I'm more apprehensive about the labour this time than last as I know what I'm in for, haha. Should be faster though which will be good, although need to make sure to get to birthcare in time a don't want the baby born in the car!

So glad everything's going well Tanithe! My baby's bang on average too - except with a big head....I blame his Dad! The ultrasound tech was assuring me the measurement can be out with fluid levels and positioning and is probably an overestimate...maybe trying not to scare me??? Ha ha. At least the tummy should squish more on the way out ;-P

Hi everyone...haven't been on here for awhile just getting things ready for the baby. Had the baby shower which was an awesome day and I'm really glad I did it. We got a lot of clothes, wraps and nappies so we are sorted in that department. Finally got the nursery all finished and fully equipped with cot and everything. I'm so happy. It's everything I wanted it to be. I've dreamed about the nursery since I got pregnant last time.

Baby is currently weighing about 3.4kg with a tummy already measuring full term....rest of the measurements are average so it's just going to be a bit tubby haha. Have started taking 5W now that I'm past 36 weeks and am certain baby is good and healthy. Just the waiting game now. Most likely will have a baby to cuddle in the next few weeks, but my BP and urinary protein aren't entirely co-operating as far as having a baby SUPER soon - they were both fine today! Back to hospital on Wednesday morning to see if they can actually diagnose me yet!!! I think the deal is that as soon as they actually decide I have pre-eclampsia I'll be induced but it's taking a while to figure it out!! Praying I go into labour before they work it out and decide on the induction but not sure my chances are very high of doing that :-)

It's pretty funny in a way, the whole situation. So far so good - BP was actually better on Friday! still high but just below the pre-eclampsia cutoff - so now the jury is out as to whether I really have pre-eclampsia (yet), despite it seeming a sure thing on Thursday, so back to hospital tomorrow for MORE tests. Every time I've been on the CTG machine the baby's been absolutely awesome so that's great, it's just me that's the problem :-)

Anyway he's term today (and it's his Dad's birthday, how's that for timing)!!! So even if tomorrow's results are bad and I wind up induced soon, it's awesome to know The Bump is most likely going to be totally fine.

Hope everyone else is doing well, I know some have had some scares in the past - we're all so close to term now, I can't believe it!!! I flew at 35 and 36 weeks exactly (like, last weekend and the one before) - with a medical certificate from my midwife to say how many weeks I was and that I was healthy. Air NZ didn't care at all, didn't ask me anything, and I'm pretty obviously pregnant!

Up to 38 weeks you're fine with flights less than 5 hrs (check their website for the guidelines) and I had no problems at all, even though my feet were a bit swollen last week.

Now, however, I'm getting pre-eclampsia (joy) and going back to the antenatal day unit for more tests tomorrow and staring down the barrel of induction before 40 wks which is stressing me out a bit. Baby is fine, it's just my BP is borderline over the cutoff and urinary protein measurement today was high (quite high).

I've had it so good so far I guess something had to go wrong!

Seems like no-one's had a prem baby yet on here so far which is great? Hi everyone, sorry I've been so absent! Hope everyone is good apart from those annoying 3rd trimester things.. how's the sleep? My hips are awful most nights, I guess its good practice for broken sleep later on!?

Kiwi2010, I'm not flying from now on but I did fly a few weeks ago (short flight, ak to dunedin) and all was fine except for a bad nosebleed, brought about by cabin pressure and thin blood (I'm on aspirin). Hardly glamorous, but not the end of the world. Will you have to get permission from your MW?

Anyone else flying later in pregnancy? I'm meant to be attending a work event when 36 weeks pregnant - it's a short flight and although staying one night midwife said it should be fine. A wee bit nervous as although I flew for work in my first pregnancy when in UK I didn't have anything come up at this stage.

Oh I soooo get the little old lady feeling!!! Just doing a few jobs in town now makes my back hurt and I can wind up on the couch in the evening and struggle to get up without feeling like my legs are gonna give out! Hey all! im having baby shower nov 26th i think lol my sister is organising it. Managed to get a kidney infection which resulted in a night in hospital last week and now I'm on antibiotics for the rest of the pregnancy. Hello everyone. I haven't been on here for a while because I didn't get any emails to say there were new messages but it looks like there were a few...not sure if some settings have been changed lately? I was wondering if everyone had deserted these forums for the Facebook group for a while there.

I can't believe I'm nearly at 33 weeks...anyone else feeling huge, like there's no more growing room left, they're going to pop any minute, and tired and achy with random pelvic pain? I'm understanding now why so many pregnant women complain about going over 40 weeks, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to MOVE by then :-)

I've had a pretty easy time so far so really can't complain overall though! Hope everyone else is doing OK and there haven't been any nasty surprises lately.

Hi all,
I have been watching in the sidelines a wee bit and so busy with work that haven't thought to post to this - but thought I'd tell you what's happening with me.
Hubby and I are expecting on the 22nd of Dec, and fairytale stuff - we conceived on the wedding night! we had planned to begin trying but thought my PCOS would get in the way - apparently not!
This is my hubby's 3rd child and my first, so for me there are/were a few emotions that i had to get past.
I had HORRIBLE constipation right at the beginning of my preg which I eventually had to take panadol for as the stomach cramping was extreme. That turned into the usual MS but lucky for me - that only lasted a week!
Everything else has been pretty smooth sailing. I had a high polycose test but a normal GT test (which i have to repeat next week) - did this happen to anyone else? talking to others it seems to be common.
We found out that bub is a wee girl so are getting together supplies for her - not too much pink though!
We moved house a couple weeks ago - not fun! And doubly stressful is that our old house hasn't been taken yet and we have to pay double rent :(:( We love the new place we are in though and didn't want to move when the old lease ran out which is a month before the baby's due!
Hope all the other expectant mums in this thread are enjoying their time and being looked after well. I am working fulltime and plan to go on leave at 36 weeks. I have an office job - if i didn't I think it would be a lot harder to work for that long!

Just thought I would check in and get your thoughts on this.

And I'm going to be pretty honest here. We are losing some of our OHbaby! community to all these facebook groups, but we have the ability to create closed private groups with our forums and those that are using the private groups function are finding it working very well. We have upgraded the site so that we now have a mobile version of the forums so that it is easy to use from your mobile (if there are any bugs let us know and we will get it fixed - all our testing has come out fine so far,but we never know until we're told of any other issues).

So, is there anything else that will stop you from using OHbaby! as your private group and forum place to meet up? We're trying our best not to reduce the effectiveness of our forums - for them to be effective we need you here as part of the community here to support each other, to chat etc. We're a small business, we can't compete with Facebook, but if we're here connecting you from the beginning and offering all the secure facilities etc that you want then - is there any reason to go to facebook?
These forums are such a wealth of knowledge and inspiration, if you look through old posts from awesome past members, you'll see that most issues we are having now people have had in the past - quite reoccuring :) and you'll see the resolutions for those mums to those issues, the support and advice - it's just a deep wisdom that is just beautiful.
This is a real business concern for me as a small business in so many ways, namely the desire to create a special community of mums who are all there for each other online here through OHbaby!

What else can we be doing?
Would you like us to create a private due in thread for you and who shall we give the password to? Pm me if you like :)

We decided not to get either last time around. My previous midwife didn't seem bothered but the doctor at our 6 week check looked very surprised so perhaps it was an unusual decision? Haven't discussed it with DH or new midwife for this baby but I think unless it is a traumatic birth we'll probably pass on it again.

Hard to believe that it's less than 10 weeks to go! I was wondering that too, Tanithe, Vit K oral or jab? I don't want to upset baby's tummy but nervous about jabbing baby too.

On the Rhesus neg thing, I'm going to wait until birth and have it then, unless there is random bleeding earlier. The doc was quite reassuring about waiting until then but said I would definitely be getting it then.

Hmmm yea you are right niquey better start organising it. I've got my glucose test form but haven't had the test yet. Hard to find the time but out of work from Friday so will have plenty of time after that.

Babys movements have slowed down a bit and I'm not feeling so many kicks. Am starting to worry a little bit even though I have heard that could be normal. Will check with the midwife on Monday anyway.

I'm starting to consider a water birth. Didn't think I liked the idea but I'm starting to come around to it. Seems like it would be a lot less stressful for both me and baby so I just might go for it. Have awhile to decide anyway.

Just wondering where everyone else stands on the vitamin k shots? Glad the baby's room is coming along Tanithe. As for the baby shower, I would think not later than 36 weeks, just in case..

Had my glucose test on the weekend, hope it comes back ok as I'm a bit paranoid that I'm bigger than I should be. Last midwife visit I was measuring 28cm and was only 26 weeks.. Hoping to get the babies room finished by the time I'm 34 weeks so I can actually start moving furniture and stuff in and then have a baby shower and will have a place to put things. Mum thinks I should have a baby shower soon but I was thinking around 36 weeks. Hi again, I'm also rhesus negative. With my last pregnancy was in the UK where it is standard to give anti-D at least once during pregnancy and then again after the birth if baby is positive.

Have already had one shot earlier this pregnancy due to bleeding and will get another one a bit later on. My DH is positive and DC1 is positive. Not happy about having a blood product but its hard to assess the risks.

No good news unfortunately.
Test showed protein in my urine so spent couple of days in hospital having tests every day. Seemed to only be that day and the following the protein was present but am now on permanent bed rest and weekly antenatal checks til our little man is born.
Lots of kicks going on which I'm loving because it reminds me everything will be worth it when he is in out arms.

Haven't thought about birthplans yet. Last time I was strapped to monitors my whole labour and gave birth on my back which to be honest wasn't all that bad but baby wanted out rather quickly which helped. If I can get away with not being on my back this time I'll certainly try but haven't got my heart set on anything. Definitely know ill be at Taranaki Base but that's about it.

Rachaels- we moved house when I was 6 months with our first. Certainly wasn't fun so I know how you felt.

I'm just finishing up my thesis now (like next week) and after that will be pretty much just trying to get my research published and doing whatever I can to prepare for my defence, which may or may not be before the baby is born.

I won't be doing anything full-time from 29 weeks which is awesome after a rough 4 years - I'm looking forward to a bit of a break - but slightly scary as I'm starting to realise I might get quite bored, lonely and will have too much time to stress about everything!

Wow it has been a LONG time since I have posted here, sorry ladies I haven't forgotten about you, it has just been a hectic few months with DS having grommets, our house being sold, garage sales, moving house (never EVER doing that again when 6 months preg), DS turning the big two years old, and working full time! Phew! Why do I do this to myself?!

As I enter the third trimester (27.5 weeks now) I can already tell that the magic of the second trimester is going to fade fast. The energy levels have dropped again, I'm in a lot of pain (from the moving, we only moved last weekend) and pregnancy insomnia has hit BIG time. Exhausted all the time but can't sleep, how fair is that? Also suffering a bit from a cold and generally feeling a bit sorry for myself. At least the hyperemesis isn't here anymore!

My birth plan is a water birth at Waitakere, then to transfer up to Helensville Birthing Centre. If I can't have my water birth (I popped at 35 weeks last time and wasn't allowed) I know for certain I will not be having an epi (had two failed epis last time, annoyed the hell out of me) and will NOT be birthing on my back. Breathing exercises and gravity for the win!

Odyssey, I don't quite know how placenta previa would work with also being on blood thinners - are you under an obstetritian? If not, you definitely need to talk to your midwife about it.

Tanithe, I'm glad your placenta has moved out of the way Hollywood has its own ideas about how labour is portrayed, and to be honest it is nothing like the real thing! Can I suggest maybe watching some youtube videos of real births, as it is Hollywood's job to get ratings not necessarily tell the truth! Labour is what you make it and your mindset going into it will be a BIG help, so try to remember that each contraction has a purpose, and that purpose is to get your baby out! Focusing on the pain won't help you....focusing on the end result (holding your precious little bundle) will.

Remember, labour and birth is just a blip in the scheme of things...my mum told me to think of it as one day of really hard work, then reaping the benefits for the rest of my life. She was totally right

Also, there's something about labour pain that feels really healthy. I can't really explain it more than that - but your body is built to have babies, and labour is totally natural and healthy, and it's not a "omg I'm hurt and there's something wrong" pain, it's a totally different wholesome feeling - or it was for me anyway.

Believe you can do it!!!

I am supposed to be working until 37 weeks but that's still 9.5 weeks away, aargh! Seems so long already. Gosh there are so many more issues with pregnancy than I ever though. I don't even know what rhesus neg is...I was at risk of placenta previa but baby decided s/he wasn't having that and moved it out of the way so I was very relieved about that.

As for birthing options...my plan right from the start has been to have a vaginal birth at the Papakura maternity ward, which of course means no epidural. I was ok with this at first but now I am starting to get really nervous about the pain. I have no pain tolerance whatsoever and think it's incredibly painful just getting a blood test so can only imagine how I'll go with that. I watched What To Expect When You're Expecting the other night which was kind of funny but then when it got to the bit where they are all in labour I started to freak out...it just looks so unbearably painful :( I know it will be worth it but I don't think I'll be able to handle it haha. Forgive me if this subject has already been mentioned previously but I am having trouble finding anything on the issue.

I am due in December & have just found out I have Placenta Previa. I have read quite a bit on that topic but am having trouble finding any info on having a placenta previa AND taking daily CLEXANE (blood thinners) for a blood disorder I have. Has ANYONE here had a PP while taking blood thinners & what kind of issue does that cause if/when you get a bleed?

It has me rather freaked out about the whole pregnancy & bubs & mine's safety.
I'd really appreciate ANY info you could share.
The whole issue is causing me to stress because I cant find any info regarding this on the net....

I'm rhesus neg as well. Last time around my mw didn't even mention the option have having anything during the pregnancy, so I just go the shot when it came back that DD was positive. This time I spoke to my new mw about it, and she advised that unless there is bleeding or some trauma (such as car accident / fall etc) then to just do the same thing again. So that's my plan at the moment..

As for the birth, am planning a waterbirth at birthcare. Last time we did a waterbirth at home, which went really well, but I think it will be easier for DD to have the baby somewhere else (don't want her to see me in labour), plus less clean up! =)

I'm definitely easily out of breath as well.. CathS - Snap! 25 weeks today and having to decide about Anti-D soon. Our obst. said exactly the same, that being a blood product there is a tiny risk, but it's also a tiny risk that sensitisation could occur before birth. Hmm. I'm not thrilled about the idea of the blood product but it's just one of the many many decisions we have to keep making that have implications! Still undecided :) All the best for yours.

MM23, glad you're MS has subsided at last! Keep on trucking :)
I'd like a FB link too, although the relative anonymity of this forum from non-pregnant friends is quite nice.

Hey again everyone

Awesome to see a few others due on Xmas Day too. Wow, we could not have planned that one haha.
Finally my MS has subsided, only to be followed by a nasty cold. Have really not enjoyed being pregnant and seeing as this is the first time I am going to take a lot of convincing to do this again. Although I know the end result will be more than worth it.

Hope everyone is feeling good and not getting too achey. Yes the out of breath thing is dreadful, mine is particularly embarassing because I have been shut in doors vomiting for so long I haven't been able to do the exercise I have needed.

Just wondering if there is a Facebook group set up by anyone for December babies and if anyone has the link for it?

I'm resus neg too and I'm not sure whether to get the anti-D or not. My DH said if it does not harm I should, but my midwife doesn't think its neccessary to take blood products. Just to get tested after birth and have the shots if needed. No, i have meds that are safe during pregnancy only catch is, they cause nausea, like on a sail boat type. (swirly wurly ) Dh got treated just in case he only had to take 3 tablets, thats it.... Mine are for a week. oh well... i suppose as long as they work.
Tanithe Hall - thats great about seeing movement! i havent reached that stage yet, can only see when kicks outward.


Had M/w come today, Bp was fine, baby was really active like totally flipped sides as we were trying to catch his heartbeat. got forms to do Diabetes test.

Talk a bit about birth options... m/w said i was all clear to have vaginal birth, so YAY. but no chance of having a water birth just in case they have to whip me away somewhere, we're not sure if im allowed to go a birthing centre either.(all info based on my last birth which had a wee mishap with my hip) Might have to be chch womens for me. Also mention could be a risk of breech as theres so much "room" inside my uterus.

Anyone else have any plans/ideas about their birth yet?

Oh wow ieat_MMs is that going to have any affect on the baby or anything like that?

Yea I've heard of lots of cases where the ultrasound was wrong and they've had the opposite to what they were told. That makes it easier for me not to find out. I really thought I wouldn't cope and I would just have to know but really it doesn't even bother me. Yes I'd love to be able to shop and decorate the baby room accordingly but I'm not that bothered. I already have some super cute neutral clothes and so long as baby comes on time, s/he will be here before Christmas so I imagine family will go nuts on clothes for Christmas presents so we will end up with plenty of stuff the right colour :D

I've been feeling pretty healthy which is great. Lot's of movement now and have actually been able to see some of it if I lie down and look at my bare belly. It's so cool. Found out i have Giardia .. that was bit of a shock as we have no idea how i got it?!

Yeah, i think getting puffed out is to be expected at times now.... it only gets worse as baby grows and fills up more space.

Our scan showed we're having a boy, DH is excited, we've told some family etc not letting too many ppl know yet,

i was having a chat with a lady about Ultrasounds etc, she was telling me about her last child, the scan said it was a girl... the lady was so excited and went out and brought all pink items (she had 3 other sons), and when her baby was born... it was a wee boy. she said she was really sad/shocked at first, as she really wanted a daughter. Just goes to show... you never know huh.

Being rhesus neg, I'm wondering whether to have the anti-D vaccines in later pregnancy, or wait until birth for testing of baby's blood... anyone else rhesus neg and considering their options?

Hope you're all feeling well. I noticed yesterday climbing a steep street that my legs felt like concrete - the first time I've noticed feeling really unfit and puffed out. Perhaps it was just a tired day... or what I should expect for the next 16 weeks ??


Anyone see that 'Keep calm and carry on' show last Wednesday?

We have another little boy on his way. Finally get him to co operate so we could see.
Off for tests tomorrow to check blood pressure and babies heartbeat over the afternoon. Blood tests and all. First post, first baby, a whole bunch of associated firsts! What a ride, eh ladies?!

Just 'liked' OHbaby on FB too, which will be a shock to some of the friends who didn't know yet! Hehehe.
And I'm deep in the middle of trying to find a name - got a couple of books from the library today. Baby's sex is going to be a surprise, so we have two lists going. My parents in law actually guessed one of our favourite boy names last night but we kept quiet and didn't let on. *awkward*

Hi, im due 11th Dec. Scan lady was pretty sure we're having a boy. My Mw is on holiday at the mo.... so won't get to see her for a few weeks... even though the backup Mw is lovely too.
One question ive been dying to ask is Ive been plagued with diarrohea for the last couple of weeks.. its doing my head in. I tried cutting out all dairy and changing things over to soy and having rice milk etc. Things were going really well and then *bang* back to diarrohea again, so i thought bugger it... i want a real meal... that was a big mistake, 2am that night i was up running to the loo with violent diarrehea and throwing up too. Not sure if this is a new take on morning sickness... or just "a sickness" Any tips? I feel like my bump is huge this time around too! I had a lady say to me the other day "not long to go now, when are you due?" when I told her december you should have seen her face! Was a bit embarrassing really.

Great that you're getting the baby's room sorted Tanithe, and you should have plenty of time for painting which is great.

We always seem to be trying to finish projects before babies arrive. Last time we painted both baby's and our room, and moved the hot water cylinder. Only had the new one going for 2 days before DD arrived (which was very lucky seeing as we'd gone for a week without hot water and we had a home water birth planned!). This time we're trying to get a wall taken out and new kitchen (and hopefully deck) put in before baby #2 makes her appearance. Fingers crossed it's not still a building site when she arrives.

Welcome MM23...are you taking anything for the ms? I found that the Blackmores Morning Sickness relief tablets really helped and same with the organic preggy pop drops (preferred the drops to just the preggy pops as I didn't like having the stick haha).

Well I have had a builder in my baby's room for the past week as I peeled the wallpaper back and found black mould behind there. Have pulled off all the gib on that one wall (which is the outside wall) and put insulation in there and re-gibbed it and made the wardrobe a bit more user friendly. Builder is just sanding the plaster today and then I will sand the roof and windows back and then start paintings. However, the likelihood of baby arriving on your due date is pretty low - this is my second boy and my first was 12 days overdue (and induced).

Hi everyone

I have only just seen that this group/ forum exists. I am due on 25/12/12. Couldn't have planned that one! Just found out that it is a boy, which my husband has been predicting all along based on the nub and brain theories.
Felt dreadful since week 5 and only just starting to feel a bit more normal (15 weeks of MS sucks). Still sick every day, but at least I am feeling a bit more like leaving the house.
Just been feeling him move inside, some big kicks or headbutts, particularly of my bladder area. It's such a strange feeling, really hard to describe.

Hope everyone is feeling well, I am dying for summer time to come so I can have some fresh summer fruit, mmm strawberries.

Nope no clues yet as to why its high. It was high for 10 weeks with my son for no reason then. My heart is working as it should, im young, healthy and fit and there is no family history of hypertension, whether pregnant or not. No indicators in my blood test for hypertension. Just having a really crap time. No signs of pre-eclampsia (PHEW).
Happy baby is okay and is still developing though is little for dates. But would be a lot better if we are both okay.

Have just been discharged from hospital. Was admitted yesterday after my blood pressure hit 160/105 again. Have been poked and prodded and had some tests. Baby is fine but I'm on strict bed rest now.

Well I think I'm just having bad luck with this pregnancy. Now on more tablets (another BP one, one for vomitting and one for dizziness). Silly me thinking since it was so easy having my first baby that it would be easy to pop out another.

Scan is coming up soon. I've had my scan now too. I didn't find out what I was having but had to ask the lady if she knew and when she said yes it made it so much harder not to find out. Baby is completely healthy though so that's all that matters. Can feel little movements which is cool. That sounds a bit scary Tanithe, glad you're feeling better. Did they ever day what they thought caused the bleeding?

I've been trying to remember from last time when I started feeling the baby move regularly. I've felt this one a couple of times but not as much as I thought I would have by now. My placenta is at the front so maybe it's muffling the movements.

Lots of boys so far! I guess we should try and update the list so we can keep track. Any takers? Well I ended up in hospital yesterday. Had some very fresh red bleeding in the morning and after what happened last time I freaked out a bit. Got poked and proded with needles and did all sorts of tests then did a little scan. We got to see baby move. Anyway, after being there for nearly 4 hours (the bleeding stopped after only 2) I asked if I could just go home and they decided to tell me then that they had actually wanted to keep me overnight which I wasn't having because I didn't see the need and when I asked them why they couldn't give me enough reason so I left. I am feeling ok about the decision and baby seems to be fine. We just had our scan today at just over 20 weeks - it's a boy and that was quite hard to miss! I woke up one morning during the first trimester and just went "it's a boy" so somehow wasn't surprised....Anyway he seems healthy and the right size so I'm pretty happy :-)

I've been feeling him move lots since 17 weeks which has been awesome. I felt him roll over during the scan just before the sonographer said "oh no he turned his back on me...!!!" Thought for a while we weren't going to get good shots of the heart and have to come back - got there in the end though.

My parents enjoyed the CD of scan images - I'm their only child (thanks to Mum's bad early onset pre-eclampsia with me) and this will be their first grandchild so I think they're making the most of it! Mum is certainly shopping and knitting up a storm.

So, went for my scan last Friday. I'm having a health boy. Had a bit of a cry, I had convinced myself I was having a girl. Lol. Super pleased to say the medication for bp is working well and keeping it stable. Scan all went well. baby still small for dates but not panicing yet. Next scan booked for next month. Lots of kicking going on. I have my scan on Friday. Quite looking forward to it. Hearing everyone talking about finding out what they are having is making me kind of want to but at the same time I think I will still wait. It will be good to have a surprise I think.

Morning sickness is gone. Just get a bit nauseous with indigestion and heartburn. Have finally started to feel baby move. Welcome to the new mummy's!

Had our scan on friday, all looked good, although bubs was not very cooperative so it took ages to get all the views of the heart etc.

We did manage to find out the gender though, we're having another girl!
