I actually ended up with a whole lot more than 6 but found thats how much I had to always have clean and dry.  ]]>

I would suggest keeping a bit of money aside so that you can do a bit of shopping if need be once baby is here as well - you'll have a better idea what size they will be (my 'average' sized DD &#091;7lb&#093; needed prem stuff, at at 9 months has only just outgrown some NB onesies!), what styles you like and the weather etc etc. It's also a good excuse to get out of the house!<br /><br />I hope you enjoy the rest of your preg and are blessed with a great birth and a healthy baby<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> ]]>

You will be able to leave the house and go to a shop if you need to, and you will be able to buy on TM or online and have things delivered if leaving the house is impossible.<br /><br />I guess what I am saying is, try not to stress and don't go overboard. If you find you need more bodysuits when baby arrives, then you will be able to get more. ]]>

The first few weeks home from hospital we were so focussed on their weight gain cos they were so tiny, they used to wear the same clothes for 2 days so we weren't using up their energy with clothing changes.]]>

Jacob was an incredibly spilly baby, you'd leave him for a moment and he'd have saturated whatever he was wearing, we went through ten changes a day sometimes, and I don't exaggerate (I was also not over-cautious about letting him wear something slightly dribbled on... changes were reserved only for actual drenchings, he just smelt of sour milk the rest of the time). <br /><br />Luckily, with gifts and a couple of cheap bulk lots on TM, we didn't lack for clothes. I'd buy a few now, and more later if you find you need them - I found that before I had Jacob I didn't know what kind of clothes I used the most anyway, after I had the knack of baby-wrangling a bit I knew exactly what I wanted.]]>

It's more of a so that I know I've got everything that baby needs and wont run out. It's my first baby and I have no idea about number of changes it will need in a day or how fast it will grow or even how many layers it needs to wear. I've been given a fair bit of baby clothes but wasn't sure if I need to buy anything extra on top of it. From the sounds of things I should be pretty set so long as I do the laundry pretty regularly.]]>

How I came to hate those domes... On the upside somedays they would last the whole day in one outfit.<br /><br />I actually think they are not that much better now - went to town this morning came back and let them play outside they got grass stains then I decided to give them baked beans for lunch.. so changed before their nap.<br /><br />I generally went for 5-6 of everything.  <br /><br />People will give you a bit too but probably not socks and bodysuits people seem to like to buy the cute stuff little outfits, all in ones and booties]]>
