It was just a copper IUD, I havnt used any sort of contraception with hormones since 1999!!

I dont want to stop bf, but yeah Im guessing its that. what type of IUD Kellz was it just a copper one or one with hormones? i have had the copper one before i got preggers with number one got UTD as soon as it was removed, same as for number two number 3 as you know took 6 months and complete weaning before it came along.

I don't know much about ttc (only got one and he was conceived as soon as i stopped the pill), but I blame the IUD. Im trying to figure out why its taking longer to ttc #3 than it took before.
Im a few kg heavier and DH is 14kg lighter than when we concieved both times before, but we both were and still are in the healthy weight range for our heights, so could this difference now be contributing at all?e

Im still bf #2, have just cut down to 1 feed a day but it has only been a couple off weeks since we dropped down to 1 feed, so not enough time to see if that will help. The more I read on bf and ttc tho, it seems unlikely that this is the porb as Ive had regular periods back for a year now. But the last 2 times I wasnt bf.

I had a IUD after #2 but hadnt had one before- but have had it out since a month before we started ttc.

These 3 things are the only things I can think of that are different this time around, plus with 2 kids and working Im busier than ever. Could any of these things be contributing to why its taking longer? I wish there was something I could do to speed it up, lol!

ETA- I know we havent been trying that long, but #1 took 1 month and #2 took 2months, so its heaps longer than its taken us before.
