I have no trouble going to sleep but if I wake in the night (hello - every night to go to the bathroom!!) it takes me about 2 hours to get back to sleep.

Next week I am hoping to walk DD1 to school just about every day, now that we are back into the routine. I really hope that will help.

And then when I could relax I was getting up 3 times a night to pee.

Then came the second trimester and I was sleeping all the way through most nights.

I've generally always been a side sleeper but until my belly got too big I would sleep kind of on my front/side.

You don't have to worry about sleeping on your back until you're much much further along.

I am shattered. I have so much going around in my head - none of it baby related. Tossing and turning? Oh yeh. It feels like i am roll onto one side, 10 seconds later I am back on the other!!

Is it true that you shouldnt sleep on your back or front? Or even lie on your back and front. How on earth do we do our exercises without lying on our back or front?! Something about lowering the blood pressure and cutting off blood supply to the baby. IS this just more scaremongering??? What on earth did women do 1000s years ago without all this knowledge.
