Ahhh this is great. We have two moves in the next 6 months.. One to the rental property this week and then one to our new house in 5 months and then we wont be moving again..for at least 12 years!!!!

Get heaps of people to help with the move so you can be with your baby the whole time. I would set the babies room up first and then at least they can be settled into bed if needed. Oh, and remember to stay as calm as possible when you are putting them to bed. They pick up on stress, and that includes the stress involved with moving! I moved when Han was 3 months and she seriously didn't notice. And it was GREAT because she slept lots so I didn't have to worry about controlling her while moving (I also moved when Han was 15 months Now that was hard!)

Maybe for the first few nights put in an item of your clothing with her when she goes to sleep. I'd be interested to hear some tips as well...we're moving in 3 weeks so Maddie will be 6 weeks old...it's only a move of around 20 metres to the front house on the section but still.
