The info sheet on Omaprazole suggests pear also. We were giving it to our boy this way when he was only 6 weeks old as they say 1/4 is not classified as solids and it also helps line the gut and aid the digestion on the meds.

we're doing this with my 8 week old baby. It feels so bad to be giving 'solids' to a newborn, but I'm reassured after reading your post! Hi. Yeah finding this out was a great thing for us too but my GP discouraged it when I asked her and midwife was adamant to give losec with milk which is apparently the worst thing to do. Glad your son has his reflux under control now, poor little man    A shame that no one has told you this info earlier though - it was one of the first things my gp told me.
