I didn't like the ingredients in the other pharmacy solutions.
So I tried it but we had Tui Balm so I used that then combed the hair/head backwards the next morning and it was all lifted off and stayed away!!!

Anyway sorry for the long winded response but it was someones old school remedy and it worked so thought I would pass it on.

Good luck with it.

The only thing they had to treat cradle cap was a lotion that is obviously really strong as you have to be careful not to put it on any non-affected areas. I'm reluctant to use it on a newborn's scalp even if he had bad CC. DS2 is 6 weeks old and it's not that bad, but I can see it starting to come through and want to knock it on the head.

I did a search and found a post about something slightly different but there was mention of shampoos, although not by name, so I'm sure there are some out there.

Any ideas much appreciated!
