The test will pick up if your body is/isn't coping. <br /><br />The GD test is a standard test during pregnancy, so it's nothing that you're "made" to do based on your pee-on-a-stick test results at each MW/OB visit. It's a precautionary test, more than anything <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"><br /><br />Good luck - take a book/magazine to read while you wait <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">]]>

So far I've been clear of sugar in my urine tests at the MW's and at the OB. How does that corolate to the Gestational Diabetes test? ie if your urine is free of sugar, are you normally ok or can it go either way?<br /><br />Also, anything major I should stay away from today? I'm not much into sweets a the moment anyways, so just planning on eating normally today...<br /><br />Thanks in advance]]>
