i have twin toddlers. they are still fairly messy eaters. so we've had 6 of those fleecy long sleeve bibs for a year now. one for every main meal per child. we wash a load with them and other pink stuff every single night and they are dry again in the morning for another days mess. i was shocked to discover they have developed mold on them too! we don't soak them and wash them so often. The soapnut shop, have just released a stain remover bar. It's a natural product. I used is and it seemed to work pretty well, didn't entirely get the stains out but did fade them a lot. The bars are about $5.50 so really cheap. And the soapnuts are great being that they are a natural product for washing. Mould stains don't generally come out of anything fabric... chuck em and get some new ones. I got one of those plastic bibs with the scoop food catcher at the bottom. I had to end up bleaching a bundle of mine. I chuck DD's bibs into a bucket with water and a wee bit of vinegar. Thanks Kellz! Will just soak them during the day and then wash, will just have to throw the mouldy ones out or use at home!

We had this too- if you wash them straight away its fine, its when they sit in the washing pile that the get mouldy. Soaking them in a bucket of water works. No idea how to remove the stains tho- I just used those ones at home!

I am finding that mould is growing on my 5 month olds bibs it is so gross :( Can anyone give me advice on how to get rid of the mould stains and how to stop them from going mouldy. My baby has eczema so I try not to use anything too harsh, thanks.
