I saw a flyer at my midwives saying our area could get free booster shots for pregnant women between 33 and 36 weeks. How long since you were immunised? I was immunised as a child and apparently people need to have boosters to maintain that immunity.

Not sure about the dangers to an unborn baby - I think the concern is more for newborns and those under about 6 months.

Hi all

Just had a text from someone at work advising me that one of the people we work with has whooping cough and that they thought I should know since I'm 21 weeks pregnant.

I'm immunised but do you know if its dangerous for unborn baby?
