glad you got a mocka Azza - we looked at those, but got a wishbone (family 1st birthday pres) as I wanted a 3 wheeler to 2 wheeler. I've seen loads of kids on mockas though and they look great. Mad loves her bike and has been racing round on it for months. Still on 3 wheels though. Think she needs to be a bit taller for 2 wheels.

the mocka bikes are great! runna bikes are also good and will replace parts for free sometimes!

I would be inclined to get one you can add pedals on to later, the balance part of it really is fantastic but you can save alot if you can find one that adds the pedals later, he will be so much more confident!

We've just given the twins the Wishbone bikes for their second birthday (they can just reach the ground on them). I also like the fact they are a 3 wheeler so they can learn the riding bit before the balance bit.

I have friends with the Mocka one who love it.

ETA - those LikeaBikes look great! My two have to stretch to reach the handlebars on the Wishbones so those would have been perfect.

If you can get a Like-A-Bike, their geometry seems a bit better. They don't have such a long reach to the handlebars so are easier to control /steer than some of the other models. DS got the wishbone bike for his 2nd birthday and it is the BEST! He absolutely loves it and spends nearly every day riding on it. He isn't the biggest 2 year old, so all the other bikes would have been too big for him and I really like it starts off as a 3 wheeler so he can his confidence on it first. We bought the wishbone trike. It goes from 3-wheeler to a 2 wheel balance bike so lasts from really young till they're 5 or so.. .and you can customise it with graphics and a coloured seat...
