Kebakat and Keolyn, Avokado is my next stop. I've tried Farmers but they had nothing in my size, but perhaps a larger one might help... Bendon is a good idea too, thanks!

Rexy and lisame, I think finding underwire-less bras would be good. Rexy, how did you remove the underwires - were they made to be removed or did you just cut them out?

I was an E cup before I got pregnant, so its hard to find a maternity bra that goes even bigger! But the motherlove ones go up to at least a G and if you go to the outlets when theres a sale, like Keolyn said, you can get them cheap. Think I paid 31.50 for each of mine, and theyre easy to unclip once you're using them for a nursing bra. :) They still aren't low cut but kind of nice looking.

ETA- If you go to the right place, Kmart goes up quite high, for cheap, and you can get some nice lacy normal bras for under $20. I got a couple from them and then just took the underwire out when I got too big.
Farmers has a few bigger sized lines, but if you want them cheap then you'd have to wait for a decent sale.

Edited by Rexy

I got 3 of theirs for $20 each at the outlet store sales. They only go up to 16DD but the cup is quite wide I found and I could wear them with singlets.

http://www.ellemacphersonintimates.com/collections/maternity/

mine are similar to this

    Author: Snuggly
Subject: 42381
Posted: 29 July 2012 at 2:53pm

I've been expanding rapidly in one particular area (well, two actually!) and I'm already up two cup sizes and a band size - and only at 12 weeks. So today I bought my first maternity bra... and uuuggh, they're all so ugly!! Even the Hot Milk range, which looks nice online and has some nice fabric colours and styles, are so big and nanna-like in how they fit. The one I bought is so high cut at the front that I can barely wear singlets with it, let alone v-necks. What's the point in having these great new boobs if I have to dress like a nun? And why is there so much maternity clothing that's too low cut for maternity bras?

I thought I could just buy some cheap (because they won't fit for long) regular low cut bras for when I'm wearing lower cut clothing, but now nothing is in my size anymore. I'm a 10E at 12 weeks so it's only going to get harder!

Has anyone else had a similar problem? There's only one last bra shop in Auckland which I can think would have my size in maternity or normal bras, and if that doesn't work out I guess I'll just start shopping online and returning anything that doesn't fit. Can anyone suggest any other options?

Thanks x

Edited by Snuggly
