Agree with the suggestion of swimming being more weighted with Dad's. So are things like kindy gym - probably a bit early for your wee one but something to think about. Thanks, this is definitely something we are looking into. We're in Brooklyn, the only problem is neither of us drive, so getting to groups etc on a regular basis is very weather dependent, and having a fussy/spirited baby means that it's not always easy leaving the house for him! sorry, my DH really battled when he was home with our DD (in Auckland) and ended up going to the usual coffee groups as the only guy.

Looking for stay at home dads in Wellington. My wonderful husband is a full time SAHD with our almost 5 month old son and is finding it hard to make friends, even though he goes to a number of "mums" groups, and he's getting very isolated and lonely :(
