I used the moby wrap for my second child and didn't have any problems as such, she had reflux so it's the only place I could settle her, she went into her cot no worrys after this stopped.. Didn't' find it an issue at all. I just wondered what people's experience of baby wearing is, for those who do not co-sleep with their babies?

I have a 6 week old baby who is sleeping in a bassinet in her own room, mostly she settles very well (especially at night, which is a relief!). However, I have a Moby wrap-type carrier which I'd like to use during the day so that we can both get the benefits associated with baby wearing, however I'd like her to settle in her bassinet at night after her bath.

What I wondered was whether anyone has successfully done this, i.e. does baby wearing during the day make an infant harder to settle at night in their own bed?
