Gosh I've been out of the loop but I'm guessing you're all in the same boat as new mothers!
Our wee boy Archy was born 2 weeks early on the 11th of August; 2.3kg (5.36pounds), so we spent a week in hospital until his weight was okayed for us to go home.
5 weeks old today :-)
Congrats to you all on your own baby births!

Hey everyone...nice to see so many others with bubbys due this month!

I was due mon so now 40 +4...first baby and I'm finding this to be the hardest part of pregnancy!! (Despite having horrific morning/day/night sickness till 18 weeks...seem to have forgotten now haha)

Anyone else here gone past their edd? I wish I hadn't been given a date rather a due month instead

Cervix prolapsing is when your cervix, instead of staying up where it should, it has a tendency to drop down, where it shouldn't be. I have to go in to the Women's Assessment Unit later. As my cervix has been quite bad with it's prolapse and the last day and a bit it's felt really low and uncomfy. We're very excited, tonight we find out what we are having! Have had so many say it's a boy, weird cause no one knows my surrogate... a friend's Mum who is a clairvoyant says it's a boy and she's rarely wrong - I wonder if this will be one of those times, I guess we find out tonight! Congrats on the Boy escadachic!!!!

Hubby and I have had a few hiccups, we decided to go for a quad screen even though we were 'low risk' bascially the Obs wasn't happy with one of the hormone readings & did recommend further investigation. Unfortunately it shoved us from 1/520 to 1/140 so now we were 'high risk' I under went an amniocentesis on Thursday, thankfully we got the call the following day that the chromosomes were normal.. phew.. but they are going to complete some more tests in the next few days. So fingers crossed bubs stays put after all that.

Now I'm 23w I can definitely say there is movement :o)
Mine started a couple of weeks ago and isn't that frequent. Definitely didn't get the early 'fluttering' , but I think that's because for me the placenta is at the front. Now I'd liken it more to popping bubbles. Occasionally I can see it, which makes it more real for hubby.

I must admit I am kind of getting sick of appointments being cancelled on me.

MW had to cancel today's appointment, but that is ok, as she is rather sick. So I was like, cool, I can deal with that.

Then Pacific Radiology call to cancel my appointment for scan on Thursday and can't rebook til Monday or Tuesday next week

So I was like, fine, I'll ring Horizon Radiology, as I'm not waiting til next week. Thankfully I got an appointment with Horizon on Thursday, yay

I was seriously so close to tears. So glad Horizon Radiology have appointments and on the plus side, the don't need a full bladder. As Pacific Radiology do and I honestly wasn't looking forward to not peeing from 7am onwards
