I am planning on going in the mornings though, before hubby goes to work. I figure ok i might lose half an hour sleep (and sleep is a precious thing at the moment) but at least i am gaining energy and losing weight..... well thats the theory. i have just finished a yoga dvd, man that was boring. Might have to invest in pilates i think]]>

I loved running those tracks because once you start you are pretty screwed and have to keep going! hehe]]>

Eventually you cut down how many you walk until you're just running. I would really like to get back into it too, but it was easier back in our Mt Wellington house, too many huge hills on the North Shore !!]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=10436">Andie</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4290<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 October 2006 at 5:13pm<br /><br />Back when I could, I used to love running... when I say 'running' I really mean basically hurling myself tumbling down the street huffing and puffing and then contorting myself into stretches to relieve the stitch at every few lamp-posts, walking past a few houses, then picking it up again.&nbsp; I SUCKED at it so much but loved it anyway!!&nbsp; You can't go wrong so long as you warm up well, stretch afterwards, don't keep going after an injury, wear good running shoes, and push yourself enough to get a decent workout but not so much that it's days before you can exercise again.&nbsp; If you used to be a sprinter, you'll probably take to it really quickly, won't you?&nbsp; Have a blast... I'm jealous and wish I could be out there beating the streets too!&nbsp; ]]>
