25 weeks today and feeling time is finally going by a bit faster. Can't believe we only have 3 more months to go!

Some days I don't feel pregnant at all, others I get the odd aches and pains but nothing major. Steel sleeping well too but do wake up occasionally and can't go back to sleep which is a bit of a pain. 

Have bought a few pieces of clothing but am really wanting to keep it basic this time so won't be getting much more at this stage as I think I'm set for NB size.

Haven't done much baby shopping at all, bought a few onsies while away and have a Babu order coming soon. We still have a few things from last time and will borrow some stuff. But I am trying to keep it really simple this time as I hate clutter and I ended up having way too much stuff last time which I now find unnecessary. But it's so hard to know what to get first time around as there is so much stuff out there and everybody has different opinions on what is needed and what is not.

We do however need to buy new furniture for our 2 year old and move her into the bigger room so that is something I need to get started on soonish I guess. 

How are you finding your new MW Kalika? Hope you feel more comfortable. I have an appointment with mine this week. Only the second this pregnancy, hoping to hear heartbeat. But I am finally getting kicks so am less paranoid now which makes for a nice change!

Scan is coming up in 3 weeks and still undecided if we should find out or not. I want a surprise, husband wants to find out!

I can't feel any flutters yet, still waiting for it and am starting to get a bit worried again. Next MW not for another 3 weeks I think.

 

Re cloth nappies, I used Itti Snap in Ones last time when I started with it and loved them initially. Then the started to leak and just never fitted right on my daughter. I ended up using pockets which I got really cheap from Baby Factory. But they are one size fits all and I don't know how well they will fit on a newborn?

I actually didn't want velcro on my nappies as they always get funny in the wash.

Packing tonight, off to Germany tomorrow. No idea why I thought it was a good idea to book flights at this time of the year. I am currently packing winter coats while I'm sweating like a pig...

You can also do AN classes that run over one weekend which may be more suitable for you guys?

Sorry I can't help with the back pain but I know lots of people who have or are doing pregnancy yoga which can help.

My belly button got shallower and shallower and then just vanished last time too but didn't show till quite late last time and think it will be the same this time around. 

Bummer about the mw Kalika. But yeah I would try and call a few others too. I called two last time and ended up using the second one. During the pregnancy I always thought she was ok but nothing special and that I probably would not use her again next time around. During the birth however she was fabulous so I called her immediately after finding out this time!

I don't really click with her as such but then I am not looking for a best friend, I just want somebody who get my baby safely into the world. 

Another stunning day here today and I have energy yay!!! Doing washing and housework and am off to the hairdressers now. 13 weeks today so hopefully I'm over the worst now. 

Last day of work for nearly 5 weeks today!!!  Off to Germany on Tuesday. Starting to get a wee bit worried about my non existent energy and 35 hour door to door journey with a 2 year old 

Bugger about getting the days wrong cupcake. Hate it when that happens!

I went and bought some maternity jeans at Jeans West today. A friend bought a pair too so it worked out $55 each which I think is quite a good price. Just gotta get them hemmed.

How is everybody going on the food and eating front? I still don't feel like much but need to eat to combat nausea. When it comes to dinner I am generally starving but only manage a very small amount. For some reason I find eating quite exhausting.

We are in the same boat he wants to find out, I don't. But since the scan yesterday which made it all so much more real for me I am starting to think there is no way I can wait and not find out... so he may get his way after all lol

If he'd know and I don't I would never hear the end of it and he would tease me all the way till the end. So I'd rather not go there!

I get what you mean about the attention Kalika. I am a bit the same with my work colleagues. I've only told one lady so far and am off work for 4 weeks after this week so have decided I will wait till I am back before telling anybody else. 

Finally finally had the scan this afternoon and all is well. I was SO relieved and I now feel like a massive weight had been lifted of my shoulders. It feels so so so good.
