Thanks for getting bk to me. I have been ringing round all morning and Miramar Community Creche is full and now has a wait list of around 6 months!But I might be able to get my son into Kilbirnie Community Creche after easter, Miramar day cares for his age group (nearly 3) all full at the mo but a few spaces at ones in Kilbirnie so will try there. Also rang Miramar Playcentre where parents stay and is 9.15 -11.45 - was thinking of trying this 1 day a week. We are using Miramar Community Crèche. Our DD loves it. We only have tears when it's time to come home. There are 4 carers and a volunteer on a Tuesday. They are mornings only Monday to Friday and we were lucky enough to get in straight away so there can't be much of a waiting list.

There's another one over the road (KidzCorner) that we're on the waiting list for that does full days. Hi Everyone,

We've just moved to Seatoun, Wellington and need to find some, preferably, morning only child care for our 2 year old daughter. We were previously in Wadestown and spent the whole year on the waiting list for the crèche. Typically a place has come up for this term the same week we moved! I think she's too young for kindy.

We don't mind travelling to a good one but would rather not travel to the opposite side of town in rush hour! I also hope for it to be a good way to meet other Mums in the area.

Does anyone also know if there are any baby/toddler groups in the area too...Miramar, Seatoun, Strathmore areas? I'd love to start something to meet other mums in the area.
