I know in Chch they won't 'let' you go for a vbac at a maternity unit. Your choices are either a home birth or a base hospital birth. Do they have the capacity to do emergency caesareans there? Probably the only way to know is to ask your midwife. If you have had a sucessful vaginal birth thy are more likely to allow you to birth there. Might depend on the reason for the csection?
