Hiya, i'm 16 weeks pregnant today with my second child and i'm having a completely different pregnancy than my first, i'm really worried how i'm going to cope having my son turning 2 just after my due date, he was born 26th oct and my due date is 7th oct, my son hates me going near other peoples children and especially when i give wee babies a cuddle he looses it. can i join the private forum too please :)

Hey everyone,

I am 12 weeks pregnant with our 2nd and due in early October. We were told it would be near impossible to get pregnant naturally and had our daughter through IVF. We had been trying for a 2nd and were waiting to have a frozen embryo transfer when we found out I'd fallen pregnant!!

When we first found out we believed that from the dates, I was due in September, but our supposed 13 week scan showed I was only 9 weeks!! So here I am, 12 week scan on Monday!!

Would love to be part of the private forum :)

Hi ladies. My hubby and I are really excited to be expecting our 1st baby on 3rd October. I've been super tired, very sore boobs and peeing a lot! All day nausea kicked in at exactly 6wks, however I haven't had any nausea for 2 days now so am cautiously optimistic that perhaps it's all done....?
I've sorted our midwife, and on her advice have also booked antenatal classes as apparently they book up so quickly. First scan is on 11 Mar and am really looking forward to seeing our babies heartbeat.
We are also visiting our families to tell them this weekend.

Hi everyone,

We found out I was pregnant last Sunday, due date is Oct 29th. Going to get my dating scan on April 11th, really hoping we can see a heartbeat, it might be too early though.

Reading up on everything I can at the moment, soo much to take in. Especially all the foods I cant eat now.Feeling a bit crampy every now and then, no other symptoms yet, oh other than loss of appetite

Hi everyone,

I'm due 26th October, we found out on Valentines night - we thought we'd better check before opening the bottle of wine.

We were both taken aback as was our first month of trying. We are on the other side of 35 so thought it may take a while after so many people saying it would. But we are both super excited, though me a little anxious.

Seems weird that the only signs that there is a wee person growing inside me are ridiculously sore breast, a bit if queasiness and fatigue that seems to sneak up on me.

Hi all!

I had my dating scan today, very excited to see the heartbeat etc. They confirmed the estimated date was indeed correct, so DD 3 Oct, and I'm 9 weeks along today.

I really hope this nausea subsides soon, and I've turned into such a Nana - bed is calling even now.

Oh yes, and if I can be added/sent the pw to the private forum, that would be great!

Hi, I am very new to this, and thought to give this a try.

I'm 27 years old and live on the North Shore of Auckland.

EDD 23 Oct. I know that I am pregnant, but I havent brought a preg test to find out definately.

I have consipation really bad. I try and eat lots of dried fruit, cos that usually gets me going. It only worked a little bit.
The last couple of days I been constantly eating (even getting up 1am 3am for midnite snack).
Been having headaches on and off. The heat outside is way too much for me now, and peeing all the time. Sometime I have to get up 3-4 x's in the nite to pee.
MS hasn't been to bad, cos I take up time to get out of bed. But whenever I drink tea now, it comes back up.

My cycles are long, and they vary between 30 and 36 days. I had a light period that lasted 1 1/2 days and it came on day 27. Which is every unsual for me to be under 29 days. I have worked out my EDD from the time Implatation bleeding started.

I am not sure how to tell anyone, even family and my new partner.
I know I am going to get a negative reaction because this baby number 1, was unplanned. But I am definately keeping my baby. But breaking the news is going to be awkward........

I am new to all this forum stuff but thought I would give it a go this time around.

It's my first pregnancy so all a new experience. Finding my sense of smell insane - walked through our staff room today at lunch and was overwhelmed by the intensity of all the food everyone was eating. Had to leave due to sensory overload !! haha :)

That was me too Tan :) This pregnancy feels completely different to the one I miscarried, which is reassuring. How far along are you now?

My nausea only kicked in the end of last week (6weeks +). It is not fun but is nice to know that everything is going smoothly just by my misery You may be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get it!

No, no nausea, but super sore boobs, tiredness, a bit light headed from time to time, and peeing a lot. A bit different from the first pg. But I may be a bit early for nausea anyhoo. People are assuring me it can hit at any time from now on!

Hi all, I was going to wait until 12 weeks, but I find these forums so supportive, that I thought I'd pop in now. I had a miscarriage last year and it was so so hard to leave the group, but I figure whether I go on my 'due in' forum now or in 6 weeks time, it won't make a difference to the outcome. I'm just feeling super cautious but kinda hopeful at the same time. Soooo, I am 39, due 19 October with my first baby, second pregnancy. Scared as, but cautiously optimistic. Oh and if someone could PM me with the private forum password, and facebook deats, that would be great. Looking forward to the journey, whatever it may hold.

I am pregnant with our first baby, from our first round of IVF. It is really surreal, hasn't really sunk in yet!
I am 4wk6d and due 26th October. haven't really had any symptoms yet except for tightness in my lower belly and sore boobs

Hi all,

We found out we are pregnant two weeks ago and due late October. This was out second round of IVF with first pregnancy so both excited and very nervous... Very tired at the moment and getting a lot of cramping - does anyone else experience this??
Feel a wee bit of nausea but nothing too bad so hopefully it stays that way :)
Am now in the process of finding a midwife which is quite a daunting process - is anyone in the Kapiti/Wellington area and can they recommend a midwife?

Been forever since I posted. Moved house couple of weeks ago and only just got internet back.

Nausea has followed us to the new place and made itself right at home, too! Had first midwife appointment last week, all good, just the usual.

Had acupuncture for the MS this afternoon and really hoping for some relief! Has anyone else tried it? Feeling so sick I completely lose interest in pregnancy updates...your baby is now 1mm long etc etc. I just wanna put my head down and have another eight weeks be gone!

I had spotting with DD at about 10 weeks...had a scan and all was fine. An old wives tale is that spotting in early pregnancy means its a girl!

Hi, so, two days ago after getting a BFP that day I had bright red spotting. Not tampon worthy and it was only once but due to my past miscarriages I'm pretty worried! Has anyone had bright red spotting with previous pregnancies and gone on to have healthy baby?

Hi everyone and congrats on on all of you pregnancies.

I'm due with my first on 18th Oct.

Very lucky to have no morning sickness so far - just tired and peeing constantly!

I'm seeing my GP on Weds and hopefully he can recommend a good midwife / obstetrician (still deciding)
