Have spoken again to the nurse. She said I could do the test on Monday or Tuesday if I wanted to. Felt bad as she told me she had just had a miscarriage and was having fertilty problems. She said that they need to do another test as my levels had increased instead of decreased which would of suggested miscarraige. So fingers crossed that they've gone up. Will keep you all posted.

Thanks. I know Thursdays ages away. Its been hard enough waiting 2 days for the results. Hi Nicole
'Normal' HCG levels for early pregnancy vary greatly from 5-426 so you are within that range. What is most important is how quickly it's rising; they like to see it double within 48-72hrs.

By the way - I couldn't wait until next Thursday, I'd ask for another test Monday! HI All

I was wondering wether anyone can shed some positive light on my problems.

I am just pregnant and was sent for a blood test as urine sample came back negative. So I went in on Tuesday around 2.30pm and did a test that came back at 20 (have only just missed my period) then I went again on Thursday at 9am and result came back at only 23.

The nurse has said that I need to retest again next Thursday to see wether its increases dramatically. I asked her if this ment I was miscarrying but she said everyones readings are different and because I did the 2nd test only 41 hrs after for the 1st one she couldnt confirm.

I feel that it does mean im miscarrying and am gutted tho me husbands trying to be positive.

Can anyone help me?
