Just make sure you take enough folic acid - I think you need 800mg. OPKs - Ovulation Predictor Kits i got mine from america. Just google OPK tests and heaps of sites will come up find one that ships to NZ and your off I bulk ordered HPTS and OPKS that way and when i got my BFP i used a more expensive test from here to confirm it

They generally say ur most fertile the first cycle after you come of BCP so i wouldnt worry to much about that. Hi!
Well, we started trying straight off the pill and had no probs. I was told that the wait was just so you'd know what your "normal" cycle was so therefore when you ovulate, but that it didn't hurt to try sooner!

I think they are "ovulation predictor kits"

Before you start, perhaps get a blood test to make sure you have immunity for Rubella etc. Nothing else that I know of...

* Is three months a good amount of time to be off the pill before you ttc?

* What is that ovulation thing that you buy called? I remember Jesika talking about this a while back

* Is there anything else you should do before hand apart from folic acid?
