Our little girl is due the 5th of Feb.we are so excited.
Can't wait to finally meet her.(our first baby) she is still moving a lot.Midwife said today that she is growing well.
We will either be moving before baby is due or a month
After she is born. Very exciting times ahead.

I am on the hunt for a midwife now, only 9 weeks along but already
learning I may have left it late! Crazy how theres such a mad rush and shortage.
Am meeting with the ladies at home birth wellington midwives next week.
Looking forward to getting over that hurdle!

When are you due and how long did it take you to find a midwife?
Any advice for questions to ask?

Im 10 weeks pregnant today with our first baby. Due 6th Feb.
We were very lucky and got pregnant with our first month of trying - which was a big surprise as we both expected it to take a lot longer. Just booked in for my 12 week screening U/S in two weeks time - cant wait to see a baby shape rather than just a tiny spec on the screen!

Hey NzVeggie, great that you ended up UTD the month before starting to try takes away all the stress of TTC. Hope your doctors appointment goes well, and they can help put your mind at ease. I unfortunately have MC paranoia as well although that is because I had 3 MC before having my DS, I am with the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss clinic so can have regular scans which definately helped with my last pregnancy. 1st one tomorrow so FX I am still around after that.
I am definately suffering with morning sickness (or all day long sickness) I find little bits of regular food helps.
Did you get the password? I have it now so if not send me a PM and I will forward it on to you.

This is my 2nd and i never really was actually sick just felt like I was going to be! I got the little travel sickness bands for your wrists and that seemed to help.

Hey didi! Good to know some of us are still here waiting. So I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and have my first doctors appointment. I was a bit behind the 8 ball and didnt notice af was 3 weeks late as we were only officially going to start trying in June :). I'm really paranoid about m/c purely because I work in healthcare so I see it all the time and it plays on my mind a lot!!! Will be really reassuring (i hope) to have a scan soon!!
How's everyone feeling. I have completely lost my appetite until about 2-3pm every day. Not really nauseous just no desire for food and if I try and force it I feel sick. Have been taking smoothies to work in the morning as an attempt at getting something into me!

I found out on Sunday that I'm expecting my 2nd baby. Not too sure when my due date is, but I used an online calculator and my baby should be due in Feb 2014.

I have a 4 year old son, who is over the moon to become a big brother. He is forever talking to pea-body (call my baby pea, because apparently that is how big he or she is)

My partner and I have been waiting for this baby for a year and half!! I'm super excited and happy to share this (even if it's with strangers LOL). I'm waiting till my first trimester is over till I announce to family and friends. I have told my 2 sisters though, hehehe I couldn't help myself!

Hi everybody got my first ever bfp today!! I am a kiwi living in Aussie as well. Live in small town so should make things interesting! Due on 12th so 7 weeks today!! Pretty darn excited. HI everyone I am 22 and a kiwi in Aus, my partner does FIFO. We are 5 weeks tomorrow and I have been stressed thinking about everything so I am trying to focus and not stress. It is hard to keep the mask of normality up when I am stressed, nauseas and so exhausted. How does everyone deal with stress? I don't like the unknown and we have allot to think about like what country we will be in etc. I also have a few questions; what do you recommend for rubbing on your belly? Palmers cocoa for stretch marks or bio oil? Also we are thinking of going to Bali for a holiday possibly our last one just us two. I would be very careful with what and where I ate, only drink out of sealed bottles etc. Did anyone go on holiday in your first trimester? I will see what the doctor advises tomorrow as I wouldn't want to do it if it was dangerous or run a large risk of getting Bali belly - anything that could be detrimental to the baby. I could so deal with the break and time with my partner though. This all sounds negative - don't worry we're very happy and excited. x
