Yep, I've reached the point where I've said flat out to a gp "I'm confident in my parenting thank you, I'm here for your medical opinion not your parenting advice" not that I got much useful medical advice out of her either! Yeah he made me feel like total sh*t! Spent half the appt explaining how they let their son cry every night for two weeks then he slept through. Umm dude, I am paying for your MEDICAL opinion, not your parenting one! I have just seen a gp who has referred me to an ENT. I can claim back some of it through my insurance, so I am just going to bite the bullet and do it! What a rotten paed! I am currently sitting with my littlest girl while she goes to sleep, but once she does she'll hopefully sleep till 5ish so I am enjoying the sleep while I can have it!!

Thanks T-Rex :-) Yeah No 2 is still sleeping BADLY and although I am a lot more relaxed about it this time, my plunket nurse mentioned that she is really nasally and noisy when she breathes. I started to think about it, and she mouth breathes a lot and snores. So thought maybe I should get her checked out. Have been to a paed and he blew me off (suggested CIO as a solution) so will be pissed if there is actually something wrong! Try ringing around a few? I paid $80 for ours but that was in palmy. Sorry to hear you are back here again!!
