With BFing it got to the point I hardly woke up, also one big tip... don't look at the clock, having to wake up enough to read will make you horribly tired.

However, I find 'dream feeding' can be helpful...so like, topping up just before I go to bed at 9-10pm. It would drag the next feed out til later to get a bit of decent sleep :)

All the best!

    Author: Disco
Subject: 43477
Posted: 30 July 2013 at 8:35pm

Hi, I've got a gorgeous wee girl who is 16 wks old this week. She's brilliant, really easy baby most of the time. Even goes to sleep by herself 95% of the time, never happened with my first.

My main concern is that at 16 weeks she's still feeding 2-3 times a night which I know is perfectly normal but having a three yr old to look after and I'm back at work part time, I'm starting to get very tired. Catching up during the day doesn't seem to happen and if it does it's not sleep of any quality. my first was a crappy sleeper up until recently. I'm not ready to force the issue yet and wean her at night, but i'm just looking at options further down the line. I don't mind getting up for a feed once or twice in the night, it's just any more than that and I really struggle the next day and after weeks of it I'm bloody knackered.

I can't remember what I did with my last one, I remember weaning her from night feeds around 5/6 month old but can't remember how, I was very, very tired with her.

anyway long story short, any suggestions?
disco:)
