Not an absolute though of course. Birth also tends to get quicker as a rule. There are so many factors at play! My first was 9lb2oz and they got smaller with each baby (I've had three). I wouldn't worry too much. Our bodies are designed to grow babies that we can birth.]]>

I'm fully expecting this baby to be at least the same weight as #2 was and quite possibly bigger again, given they're currently measuring above the 100th percentile <img src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><div>&nbsp;</div><div>BTW- growth scans can be very misleading, which is why I take them with a grain of salt. However they ought to give an indication at least of whether you're having a smaller or larger baby in general.</div>]]>
