I wanted to say that they can't always see anything at 5 weeks even if it's a normal healthy pregnancy. Although it is concerning that they think there is something on your ovary. I guess the only way to know is to wait and to have another scan done. And either baby will have continued developing and will become visible or not. Did they do a vaginal scan?

I cant give you any advice re the ectopic pregnancy, the last two pregnancies I have had have been blighted ovum's. That is where the sack continues to grow but no baby inside. Hopefully it might just be that you are a earlier on than you think? I'm sure they will keep a close eye on you and can tell you something later in the week. You take care of yourself x

I have absolutely no symptoms (with my other pregnancies I had super sore boobs, nausea etc by now) The only thing out of the ordinary is a pretty constant dull ache on my lower left side.

I went to the Doctor yesterday, she was worried it may be ectopic so sent me for a scan today.

Im no wiser, they said they couldnt see anything in my uterus but that perhaps its too early to see anything. There is something questionable about my left ovary where the the pain is but too small to tell.

I have to wait until Thursday for second hcgs and just hope. (and try to stop working myself into a "OMG I might have an ectopic that bursts and kills me" frenzy)

Any experiences welcome, I wondered if no symptoms and a constant pain on one sided sounded ectopic.

Im not holding out much hope so no one needs to sugar coat anything for me

Huge thanks xx
