Happy new year to you fellow parents,

I would like to find a good daycare centre in Merivale, CBD, Riccarton, Fendalton or surrounding areas of inner Christchurch for my DS who is just under 3 years old.

There are quite a few centres in these areas, so I would like to get some help shortlisting them.

The things most important to us are:

1. Safe and friendly environment (ideally teachers treat babies like their own; bullying is properly handled; good ratio; clean)

2. Education (numeracy, languages, etc.)

3. Physical exercises (gym, outdoor activities, etc.)

4. Hours - doesn't close before 17:30

Price is not a major consideration.
