HI All

I am 3 months pregnant and terrified. My doctor has mentioned that i have very high sugar. He has cut down on a lot of food and i do not know how to go about it. It seems to be extremely difficult as i am also underweight. The doctor has asked me to put on weight but do not consume most of the food that i eat. :( I am in a dilemma. So confused and irritated all the time.
My husband is also having a hard time understanding this and my mood swings.
PLs help me find some solution or suggestions that can help me in some or the other way.

Thanks for your kind words ladies. I've done ok anxiety-wise Anthea. I was lucky enough to feel like utter crap until 16 weeks and feel movements by about 14 weeks, so I kind of had some reassurance all the way along.

Seems Im either having suprise miscarriage of ectopic.

Back to hosp tonight for more hcg tonight. Seems my remaining tube was working

Should be 5 weeks and hcg only 170 they say could be viable but no way. Hoping its just a mc

I didn't get a notification I just happened to check for the first time in ages! Omg 37 weeks whoop whoop that's super exciting honey gosh it feels like such a long time ago that we were all freaking out over our pregnancy!

We are good Eliana is 18 weeks now and just gorgeous so very Happy and full of smiles! Until last week she was sleeping through the night and had been since 6 weeks Lol then last night was up 7 times!

I am chugging along, I am 37 weeks today eeek, not long to go now. Going to check out my new birthing clinic on thursday so that will be fun. Hopefully MW will give me a check over and see how its all going down there, and then hopefully have a S&S the following week, I can't bare to go over again like the other 2 hahaha, it is sooooooo hot here!!

Hey kellsz, thanks for the reply! haha yes long weekend indeed. Trying to keep busy with books tv and naps. I do feel pregnant, I have a feeling I would be a little more 'normal' if I was miscarrying. Does that make sense? Hopefully levels will be higher on Monday - then it means I have an embryo. Or two 😱. Levels will decrease if I don't have one right?

Hugs early pregnancy is so tough. Ive been where you are its like limbo no one can tell you anything. Will be a long weekend for you. Can you get lots of Dvds or go to movies.

Hi guys, also preg and paranoid. Was looking to find a group with girls that had been thru similar thing S and also get support for my constant worries!
I am 5weeks and 5 days, had a severe cramp scare a couple of days ago followed by mild bleeding, doc couldn't rule out miscarriage at that point, had an internal ultrasound and 2 small sacs were found. No embryos in sight as of yet. Got bloods done and level is only at 97 :S
Need to have next bloods on Monday to see if level is going up. So now I'm left in the paranoid state that I could be miscarryjng or preg.
No morning sickness, but boobs way sensitive. And constant mild 'period pain' in belly.

Well I am now 30 weeks, on the down hill stint now. Feeling really good, just tired as at night time. We have been in our new house for 2 weeks now so it's been all go and I haven't really had time to feel or act pregnant haha, but now I can relax and settle in, can't wait to do bubs room, be so much fun!

I join all worried mums! My head just cracks every time I start thinking of me baby. I'm 4 month pregnant with negative rhesus... The same situation was with my first pregnancy. Especially when I was on my third trimester . Thanks God everything went good and my baby is healthy. Eliana is such a beautiful name!wee poppets born early often have jaundice which needs to be treated although Im sure going home is something to look forward to, get to know her a bit more before real life and the pressures of being home are upon you.
Mami, wow a girl congrats I will probably be havin another pink flavoured baby. Happy to wait until we meet to find out for sure though. Goodness knows after 4 girls think we are well prepared for another. Shes ten weeks now, such a cruisey baby so far its a lot easier than I expected in some respects but a lot harder in others.

From my knowledge all sheets are cleaned..thats why theyre white as they can then clean thoroughly without the sheets losing colour. Finishing at about 37 weeks. Hows the mum life going Kellz? How old is bubby now? I keep losing track of time with how busy life is. Anthea babys cords are usually really robust and should have heaps of wartens jelly around the arteries and vein which is a spongy and protective to the cord being compressed...works beautifully in labour too when the utrine walls squeeze the cord against baby. Just concentrate on baby try acupuncture to turn baby amd checkout the spinning babies website via google to help turn bubby. Sounds like with all these movements shes trying to turn. Crawl round the floor with your wee girl and hopefully baby will turn.

Thank you Mami...we are so happy. My hubby is a real mans man (stuntman, dirt biker and extreme sports 🙈) so boys fit so well into our life.
Our OB is really highly trained and always knows at 13w what the sex is... Very cool.
So excited for you as well, little girls are precious, and when they arrive we couldn't care less what sex they are we're just besotted with them anyway.

You are lucky they told you early, I had to beg at our 12 week, and even then she said to wait to confirm at 20 week! I guess at least our big boy can be the big brother to 2 lil sisters

Naw Anthea, such a roller coaster for you these last few weeks huh! Hopefully they will just whip bubs out quick smart on Friday, be so good a You still being a good girl and resting?

I am 17w 2d now, and can feel bubs moving have for awhile now, its just not everyday which is annoying haha, midwife said all good though. Had mw ap on thurs last week and all was great, she said I am measuring 18 weeks, sheesh that be good maybe for once my bub might be on time or even a week early that would be a breath of fresh air, haha last 2 were 2 weeks over! Can't wait for scan in a couple of weeks yay!

Just ask! Being breech at this stage they may well just let you... Really didn't find it a major, I was off all drugs within 24 hours.. And just took nurophen if I felt a bit sore... Scar healed beautifully and the whole thing wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. If you do have a c section just get up and get walking and soon as you're allowed to ... Moving helps heaps X

Hey anthea, I can imagine that it would be terrifying... Only a few more days to go though, hope it goes well for you. If it's any consolation I had a c section with my son, and found it a walk in the park... And, as far as baby is concerned probably safer.. I hope the time goes quickly for you X
I'm 12w5 today and off for our NT scan tomorrow... So frightened, almost don't want to go... So many hurdles this pregnancy thing.

So so quiet in here - hopefully that means you are all doing really well!

I'm going down hill! I've got 12 days to go and had specialist yesterday and a scan and Baby is breech! They want we to go in next Friday and try and turn her which could end in a c section! Now I'm worried as she seems to be moving up and down so much as to what's happening with the umbilical cord I just hope she's not wrapping herself in it! Sorry to hear about your SIL Mami. I was in a similar situation with my sister a couple of miscarriages ago (I was the one who lost mine) and I found it hard to be around her/talk to her - I was genuinely happy for her, but so sad for me and didn't want her to feel like she couldn't be happy or talk about what was going on for her, so I just avoided her (unfortunately she had a mmc so lost hers about 6 weeks after me). I know you've had your own losses too, so will be able to support your SIL when she's ready.

Big hugs Karenka, so sorry to read your news My gosh it is happening too often, my poor sister n law was only 6 weeks behind me, had some brown blood, called mw and organised scan, went in on the monday and there was a sac but no bub, she was meant to be like 9 weeks they gave her bloods last week, and left her to it. She had a big 'release' on Sunday night, not sure what is happening this week as I haven't had a reply from her yet xxxx

Anthea, holy moly, are you ok, does that happen sometimes does it?? Pregnancy is exhausting you're right AMK sounds like your wife has great support! I have a doppler...but Im also a midwife so heard baby from 9 weeks. And baby could hide from me too at times. Rarely use it now as its the movements that count but with an anterior placenta I have my little freak outs. GTT test on Monday. ...had it in last pregnancy so more likely to have it this time too. Inconceivable finished last week and it was really a great series, we cried through it too having just been group our 5th round of IVF.
We decided not to get a Doppler for that reason Geo but know lots of people find them great,, heard the heartbeat at our midwife appointment. I know they can be good later in pregnancy.
My poor wife is exhausted and emotional at the moment.....

Amk yay for the strong heartbeat that's awesome!

Nz veggie Omg you found the heart beat at 9 weeks that's amazing!

Geo yay for third trimester that's such awesome news!

I am getting induced on the 13th September and I will be 36+4 - she is breech at the moment so I hope she turns by then! It feels like a very long time and each day is hard Work! But at least I'm on the final count down now!

Indigo I found my Doppler invaluable but Geo is right sometimes early on you can't always find the heartbeat and it is upsetting and I freaked out but in saying that I could never have lasted going month to month for that reassurance so would absolutely recommend a Doppler,

I hope I have remembered everyone it's hard on your phone because I can't go back and check!

Kumeroa, I am so sorry to hear your news, iv only just checked in today as have had phone issues! Life isn't fair & mother nature can just be so rough sometimes, but I do believe these things happen to the strongest of us all & we are so willing to push on through it all & get our bubs! It sounds promising from Kellz so will be lovely if you guys can connect on that

My gosh, I guess all of you watched inconceivable! I was a blubbering mess each episode! It wasn't on last night, has it finished?

I am 15 weeks now, all morning sickness has subsided thank god & slowly getting my energy back, depends on what I do during the day whether I pass out on the couch or not at night haha.
Have had a couple of wee freak out moments because of symptoms going, but can feel random movement now so hopefullythat will keep me sane uuntil mw ap next week! One thing that is still plaguing me, when I brush my teeth & get to the top teeth I start gaging, its horrific! Anyone else get that, if so what do you do to stop it haha. I actually have to psych myself up to go brush them!!

Life is so fragile you're right indigo! There is often not a woman whos been through having children not touched by the loss of a much wanted and hoped for baby.
Good luck for your scan...I would def think that without experience mostly a doppler in untrained hands causes more anxiety, but what you decide will be the best thing for you.
AFM reach the goal of 3 rd trimester tomorrow feels like its been forever amd still a long way to go!.

I had Miss 7 weeks asleep on me via IVF due to ectoptic. Ivf was designed for us and works well. If you ever want to discuss it in time I am happy too.
