I was told I had placental lake during my pregnancy, my placenta was also quite large and sitting low close to my cervix... I was told to be on pelvic rest in case of rupturing the lake, as I think you're at higher risk of bleeding... I had no other problems from it and had my baby via csection a few weeks ago.
