Yeah for Ella! That is so cool. Emma Rose used to do lots of "Aaaaaaah" noises then, but she only said "Mum-mum-mum-mum-mum" two weeks ago. I thought it was NEVER going to happen! She's just added "Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba" to her repertoire. Both my girls started saying mama noises early on, they stopped around the 9mo mark and when they returned they actually had meaning It sure is a proud moment!

Apparently mm and bb (bubba) and those kinds of sounds are very easy for babies to pick up but if you are around the child a lot around the 1yr-18mo mark they will probably pick up the other person's name first because they hear it more often. Hence me, a SAHM, with a 16mo who can say Hannah (Nanna) and Daddy but I'm just nunna - just sounds like a variation of Hannah's name lol

got to love that sound aye. Mikey is doing hte same we also have cat's fighting in the neighbourhood so it is hard to tell waht is what sometimes

I worked out last night that all that my daughter has thrown at her with her allergies shes not much of a complainer she just gets on with life. I believe she has a real genuine pure soul and spirit she just hardly ever cries

gabriel used to make mummm noises but it was never in relation to me - but other babies do and toby did. gabriel was two when he finally really called me MUM. before that he called me by my first name occasionally.
