Hi Ella,
COLOURS are above the pink icons. It says Font, where you can choose all kinds of cool writing styles, then next to that is size where you can choose how big you want it to be and the colour option is next to that .

I can help with the link but I'll let someone experienced talk about the colours. When you are typing you have a pink line of icons right above saying B(bold) I(italic) U(Underline) then the next one looks like a chain. Click that, it will ask you to name your link, say perhaps "go here" and then the next thing asks for the link name (e.g. http://www.ohbaby.co.nz). Well I think I'm starting to get the hang of this now. I've just made myself a signature and even managed to change the colour ....yay me. Don't get much time to play with all of this with the girls running around. My achievement for the day, now time for bed
