mikey went through that stage, it got so bad that he would just scream and scream while he was getting dressed, getting undressed wasn't so bad.

I think it must just be a baby thing. Briona disliked it as well and was such a squirmer! I tried to avoid changing her when she was really tired (ie catch her just before tiredness hit) and part of that was bathing her when she was fresh, not at the end of the day. I also didn't bother with pj's until she got a bit older (they sleep all the time anyway) and tried to make a game of it. As she got a little bit older she wasn't so upset about it if she could sit up when dressing. I have always done lots of "yays!" and smiles and stupid noises while changing Alyssa to make her think it's a fun thing to do and she really enjoys it... I'm sure it's mostly because she thinks getting undressed means having a bath though... I am so there with that. Olivia was the terrible screamer and cryer right up till she was about 4 months old (haha Plunket Nurse thought I was hurting her... made me feel sad) . I used the "make a joke out of it" technique which worked well ... after bath time is still a trial though. Jiggling the arms and legs and making funny noises and silly faces. She loves it when there are 4 sets of arms and 2 faces making fun and playing with her.

Thanks! I try to go really fast, well as fast as I can! Just cant wait for him to out grow this. Its the "Over the head" and "putting the arms in" that he hates!! Ella did that and then i learnt to be very quick with changing her. You will develope your own way to change him without him making a fuss. I have been finding lately that Aston absolutly hates getting undressed and dressed! He will turn his head hard out to the right side and almost roll over and he will stiffen himself, it makes it very unpleasant most of the time! And really annoying!! We have a change table we use in the bathroom and is level with my stomach which he also kicks, is this a stage? Has anyone else had these problems?
