I think the only way to do it so its fair is that you have to enter a valid email address to vote. Hey gals, I'll get in touch with Angela and see if she can see what's going on. Keep in mind that with voting, even if there are low numbers (like, Mary has 2 votes and Johnny has 5 votes), the little bar graph thingie will look very different than if there are higher numbers (like, Mary has 12 votes and Johnny has 15 votes, or Mary has 112 votes and Johnny has 115 votes). So when the other babies look like they're "shooting ahead", the actual number of votes may not be too different -- it all depends on so many factors. Jax - that is what happened with Joey last week too!! He was ahead by miles (the lovely ladies on the EBB saw him there and voted without me even having to ask) and then he lost by heaps all of a sudden!! Oh well, he is always baby of the week in my eyes!! Gosh that is silly aye at the end of the day people arent winning anything they should just let it go as it would normally. I noticed that with jake and Taine in the contests too. I actually made an effort not to delete cookies and vote again, cause I thought - it is only my competitive nature wanting to win, BUT it is really weird how a baby will be winning by heaps one day, and then at the back of the pack suddenly! I think it is to do with people deleting cookies, although I am just a lowly writer (on maternity leave even!) and know nothing about such technical things - I don't even know how to delete my own cookies! Thanks Gen, and I noticed that now too.... they've shot ahead by HEAPS !! I voted once, got hubby to vote, and have asked a couple people, but that's it - and I reckon this stinks !!

I have been keeping an eye on baby of the week this week and just before one baby was on about 1 vote and then the next minute they were beating the rest by so much. Not that it really matters who wins baby of the week it just really annoyed me that someone goes in somehow manages to get like a million votes in a minute.
