I said yeah plunket said it was hormones spots. THEN HE SAYS He may have had a few but he has a form of dermatitis that makes him allergic to his own natural body oils<IMG src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"><IMG src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">and this is the reason&nbsp;his face and scalp&nbsp;was turning into one big red spot<IMG src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">&nbsp;So he was on steroids to get it under control and now he has emulsfiers 4 times daily to his face scalp and shoulders. I have since found out he is allergic to the NATURAL soap free baby bath stuff I use so he has nothing in his bath. His face is still quite spotty on his cheeks and back of his neck but he look alot better. He loves to rub his face on my shoulder as Im sure he has realized it feels nice!!! Dr says he will grow out of it...Hes hoping. I saw in one of the forums&nbsp; you are an RN. What field of nursing are you in?</P><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Kels</span>]]>

Began with the odd pimple at about 2-3 weeks old, then they got so bad that each 'pimple' was big and looked pussy and was joined to the next one. They were all through her hair, ears, and down her neck onto her shoulders. They then went all dry and looked a  bit scaly, then when that went away, new clear skin appeared underneath. They were probably there about a month in total. She looks perfect now!]]>

I didn't do anything on my midwifes advice and just left them.  They cleared up perfectly.  Dont worry about them, totally normal.]]>

His face was pretty covered and looked horrible.  But I was told that mums notice it more than anyone else.  I used some alpha keri oil on them and they cleared up so much quicker, there was a big change overnight it seemed anyway.]]>
