I am a immunisation certified Practice Nurse. In your situation when your babe is on a catch up schedule she can have a cap of 4wks (at the earliest) and that is perfectly fine. You can leave her up to 6wks after the last lot if that will make you feel better. The two main reasons the imms are spaced as they are in the schedule, is to have immunity on board for babe asap as well as the gaps between doses increases the up take of immunity in the body. (sorry if you cant understand some of that waffle, it gets hard to explain without going into a full on education session). PM me your address and I can photocopy some of my info from my immunisation handbook, and send it to you.
