You can also cross over the snaps at the waist to make it a bit tighter around the waist. We started using Fuzzi's full time when Isla was 6 weeks old and they were a bit loose,..but doing the things Toni mentioned helped heaps.
She is still on the smallest setting of the snaps on small size Fuzzi now,.. but with just a insert and booster in the day they fit well with no gaps around the legs anymore.

We sure did    I didn't want to use disposables on her at all (especially after I'd just bought a heap of Fuzzis!)

The smalls did have a bit of a gap around the legs, but no leaks after I tucked the elastic back inside (you do this when baby is wearing the nappy) and added an extra insert to bulk it up a bit.

yep - that's what we did Caitlin was born 9lb 7oz and has my thighs

If the nappies are gaping around the thigh, try adding an extra insert and definitely tucking the elastic around the legs back inside the nappy. I remember Toni (Caitlyn's mum) saying that earlier on, they just tucked the thigh bits in on Caitlyn and then they fit her fine.
